As the saying goes, “If one firmly believes in something, they can certainly achieve it if worked hard for”, this is what the founder of Sugar n Flakes always had faith in.

Unknowingly, the story of Sugar n flakes began, when a little girl, who loved to work with her hands started crafting little things out of playdough and baking cakes / pastries in her free time at home from her grandma’s recipes. At that time, it seemed like nothing more than a hobby. The reality began with a hobby turning into a passion. As years passed, the founder was sure that she wanted to pursue her career as a pastry chef where she can combine her innovative ideas along with other people’s input and build new creations integrating their desires in form of custom cakes.

In her early years of career, she worked at several bakeries and custom cake shops to enhance her knowledge & skills in baking arts.

In 2019, gathering all the courage, Sugar n Flakes Bakery was established with limited resources. As the bakery was newly introduced in the heart of Bellevue downtown, people slowly started getting to know about this place. However, within a few months, this dream of hers started feeling shattered with the hit of pandemic. Being a small, newly introduced business, it was becoming tough for survival.

But nothing stopped and her passion kept moving forward with the love & support of the community. It took a while to overcome the unprecedented times, but the result of patience, hard work, and dedication finally paid off when the customers started reaching out again with a desire where their ideas could be turned into reality in the form of cakes.

 

Today, Sugar n flakes stands where it does with the hard work and dedication of all its team members and promises to render the very best of services and quality to all its customers.
